The Black Bear Lodge is a year-round waterfront home with one of the most beautiful views of the Big Manistique Lake from its elevated wrap-around porch.

It has a beautiful knotty pine interior and 1200 square feet of living space. One of the very best year-round waterfront deals on the lake for a house this size with these amenities. No cleaning fees ever and linen service is included!

Interested in having more room and extra guests? Add-on the Firefly Cabin (2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen) next door for just a small amount more! Call for details.

Includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, full kitchen, and open living room area with a futon that folds to a full-size bed (for extra guests) and wall-mounted TV with 100+ DirecTV channels, apps for streaming services, and high speed cable internet.

Bedrooms each have queen size beds with linens, blankets, and pillows, night stand, and luggage rack with small closet for hanging items. Extra bedding and pillows provided for the futon in the living room for extra sleeping.

Inside the kitchen is a new refrigerator, toaster, full-size range and oven, microwave, drip coffee maker + Keurig coffee maker (K-cups not provided) along with all new silverware, plates, pots, pans, utensils, cooking utensils. Paper towels, coffee filters, sugar, salt, and pepper provided each week.

SUMMER (June, July, & August): 5-night minimum with check-in on Saturdays.
SPRING/FALL: 3-night minimum, check-in any day of the week.

Every guest at the Black Bear Lodge now has access to all the following newly extended amenities:

You're also just 1 minute from the Cook's Bay Boat Ramp if you bring your own boat. In winter, enjoy direct access to snowmobile trails via the lake or nearby trail access from the roadways.

We love pets, however we can't allow them at this cabin. Please check out the cabins at our main site (Bear, Eagle, Whitetail, Monarch, and Elk) where we allow up to 2 dogs per cabin.

Parking available for up to 3 vehicles (let us know if bringing a boat or trailer).

Guests only need to bring bath & beach towels, charcoal if you plan to use the grill, and personal items. A full list of what to bring will be included in your Guest Guidebook that will be emailed to you, full of great local information. We love pets, but we do not allow them at this property. We can recommend a great pet sitting kennel nearby.
