Welcome! We’re the Taylor Family, and your hosts at Trails End Resort. 

We’re now on the 5th generation of family around the Manistique Lakes and proud to be a part of this beautiful community.

Curtis and the surrounding area continue to surprise us. From the remarkably friendly people to the endless outdoor adventures. There really is something for everyone here — whether you fish, hunt, hike, ski, snowmobile, play golf, take photographs, or just love taking in the fresh air.

We became the caretakers of the resort in late 2021. After the pandemic, it became clear to us that we wanted to help continue to give people a place just to getaway and re-connect with the things and people they love most -- right here in Cook's Bay on the Big Manistique Lake, which is where we grew up and spent all our summers.

It’s truly our home away from home, and we hope you feel the same.

Trails End Resort is focused on simplicity without sacrificing comfort.

We’re continually looking for ways to upgrade your experience, including now having the homes available over 40 weeks out of the year, including 10 weeks during the winter.
